This Friday I was in Pottstown to go to a Sinatra and Dave Vegas show in a bar in Reading PA. As usual, they rocked the place and basically brought the entire crowd. Dave preformed his usual songs, Ghetto Celebrity, You Can't Stop us and some other favorites. Sinatra preformed True Playas, Double Trouble and more.
While I was there I was also very fortunate to meet Dj Koolie Kirk. He is an old school DJ from the Philadelphia area who is a local legend. It was refreshing to see someone who still uses Vinyl Records. The first thing I noticed when I saw him spin was that he didn't even have a laptop in front of him. He was telling me some crazy stories about how he met Dr. J, and some other historical figures. All in all, it was great time. If you are ever in Pottstown, be sure to stop by the studio on East High Street.
